Xenses is an unusual Cancun theme park that plays with your senses at almost every turn, from light and sound tricks to hands-on moments. The park is designed around two routes and more than 50 scenarios, so you can move through at your own pace instead of being herded nonstop. It’s a fun mix of mind-bending sets and real physical activities, including water play and a mud bath.

I especially like the priority access setup, where you can get your admission bracelets while you’re still on the bus. I also like the practical side of the day, with air-conditioned hotel pickup and drop-off plus WiFi on board, lockers, and restrooms at the park.

One caution: the park can feel very humid as you move from one indoor or shaded scene to the next. If you’re sensitive to heat, I’d plan your breaks like you would for a beach day, not a museum visit.
