“Great experience! Bus picked us up at our hotel in the hotel zone and we took off to Tulum. Tulum ruins are off the beach and were amazing experience to see. Next we were off to Coba. Coba setting was different. These ruins were buried deep in a jungle. After a long walk we got to the big temple. The tricycle ride down was a nice relaxing way down. Finally we went to a cenote to cool down after lunch. Lunch was good buffet style all you can eat. We were the only ones at the center so we had the whole place to ourselves. We had an hour to…”

“Very educational tour with many facets of Mayan culture. Tonancy was an excellent guide and kept on task and weather driver David was able to get us there to get in line in time to climb the ruins. She knows a lot about the Mayan symbols and her explanation was very informative. I recommend this tour if you are interested in the history of the Mayan culture.”

“Beto was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, charming and cared so much about the Mayan culture. He was so interesting to listen to. Coba was really cool - we went early in the morning so there was no one else there. The cenote was excellent. The food was a little bland but did the job. Chichen Itza was amazing to see - could have done with a bit longer (maybe through removal of Valladolid from the itinerary as we didn't stay long enough to see much). The coach air con was so cold, so make sure to bring warm clothes!”

“Firstly, we just want to say we booked the tour knowing that some tax were not covered by the tour company. Pros: Isaac was very good at explaining and guiding us through the day. Diego was very good and attentive at driving us to the places of interest in a safe and efficient manner. Chichen Itza and Coba really are worth the time and journey. Cons. It would really be helpful to future travellers if prices aren't hidden and be more transparent. We booked this tour knowing that we will have to pay for the offical INAH Chichen Itza tax of 568MXN/34USD per person and another local tax for Coba…”

“Took over 5 hours from pick-up to the first site, lots of time wasting! Too many extra cost that should have been in the initial cost, very deceiving. Bus had comfortable seats thank goodness, but the suspension you felt every bump. Couldn't hear guide over air-conditioning, which was freezing requested it be turned down several times. The first 3 sites were interesting but the Playa del Carmen we got there so late and it was just to get us to spend money.”

“From pick up to drop off, we had a wonderful experience. Miguel was our guide and he was accommodating, informative and engaging. His knowledge of the history, flora and fauna was impressive. We could not have asked for a better guide. The only downside was not booking our Chichen Itza tour with Miguel.”
